Eye Into The World

On Significance

by Chronos on Sep.29, 2009, under Alternative News

In the past, I’ve always been an advocate for proactivity and fighting for what you believe. I have no intentions on straying from these principles of mine. However…There is something that I’ve realized most people not only don’t understand, but never even THINK about. First, let me introduce something with which we are all already intimately familiar: the universe. The observable universe is approximately 156 billion light-years wide. In case the enormity is lost on you, that’s really really fucking big. Without the aid of some tesseract out of a sci-fi novel, the universe is literally unable to be traversed outside [...] Continue Reading…

Blankout

by Chronos on Sep.16, 2009, under Alternative News

Hey, everyone, it’s Chronos from a million years ago. I don’t even remember what my last post was.And that adequately brings me to the topic of this post- the blankout.I’m sure you’ve all heard someone, after a test in a class, tell you that they “blanked out.” I’m also sure that many of you dismiss this every time as bullshit. You can’t study something and then not know it, right? Damn, I wish that were true. About an hour ago, I had my first experience with the blankout and, I have to say, it was one of the worst [...] Continue Reading…

Some Photos

by G 2the R on Aug.29, 2009, under Alternative News

Well starting college has brought about at least one awesome change in me so far. A (very) amateur photographer has been brought out. At first the idea of a Digital Photography class was kind of boring to me. I never got into photography of any sort. My view on this certainly has taken a change though. After picking up my brothers camera and getting some photos for the next class, I am HOOKED. I got what I think are some really nice shots. (Understand that what I think is good and what is actually good are probably two different [...] Continue Reading…

Changes

by apolo48 on Aug.24, 2009, under Alternative News, Technology

Change.

We all face it. Things are always changing in our lives. Be it the leave or coming of people, the gain or loss of something important to you, nobody is ever vacant from the authority change has on our lives.

This is the topic of this post. Change.

This year has brought a lot of change in my life. Confidence, commitment, caring, loss, all developed within this year alone. The confidence and commitment was easy to accept, but going through the relationship I was in was an entirely new experience for me. Never expecting another person to come along that I [...] Continue Reading…

College… what a joke.

by nascha on Aug.15, 2009, under Alternative News

Oh, the beauty of college…

I personally enjoy waking up early on mornings when I am in desperate need of sleep, simply to hear automated menus and, if fortune shines on me, grouchy financial aid counselors who get paid for sipping coffee instead of assisting students.

Seriously, people. You are robbing me of my money. I am paying you. I will be in debt and you will be fine. Is it so hard to answer a phone? Is it too difficult to lift your precious, porcelain hands that have never seen a day of real work and ANSWER QUESTIONS THAT SHOULD [...] Continue Reading…

Equicast Relaunch

by G 2the R on Aug.14, 2009, under Alternative News

Well ladies and gentlemen, our little side project has gotten quite the overhaul. Initial responses of our first few broadcasts were great, and now we are really putting an effort into making Equicast a big part of ParityX.

First off you should notice that our Justin.tv account has a nice new look to it. Not only did they update their look for the better, we added to it. No longer just the plain boring default look. Head over and check it out for sure. Also you will notice that our older clips no longer play while the broadcast is off. [...] Continue Reading…

Klulz

by Chronos on May.07, 2009, under Alternative News, Music

Hey, Eyefags. It’s Chronos again with a report on the internet’s only good radio station, Klulz.

Klulz.com is pretty mysterious to me, as I couldn’t find out much about it, save for the fact that it’s run by a guy called Rev g0sp. Techno is a main theme- good techno- put there is plenty of metal and progressive shit too. The best thing about klulz, though, is that it features many songs about the internetz- which is awesome.

Their schedule can be found here. They don’t have an insane array of DJs, but the ones that are on there do a [...] Continue Reading…
